A modern, one-of-a-kind wool rug in green tones, Crossword is a modern area rug with a unique pattern displayed in a series of squares and rectangles evocative of an abstract crossword puzzle. This is a sample prototype of Crossword Rattan from the mid 90’s where the wool and silk colors are reversed from the final rug that went into production. Large panels of golden silk and wool with silver, tan and light taupe tones grace this game board inspired pattern that would be great for a home office. This rug was hand-knotted in Nepal of Himalayan wool using our premium Shakti quality weave which has a pile height of about 0.28 inches and features a soft, luxurious finish. This particular color combination was only produced once, in the 6×9 size.
