The Rare Weaves: Kazak collection draws inspiration from antique patterns. This collection is a nod to the history of Caucasian Armenian carpet weaving. Each rug is hand-made using the nomadic style wool warp and wept foundation of high-quality Armenian wool. The Kazak designs hail from the western region of Armenia. The collection offers rugs in various sizes, each featuring vibrant colors and bold, archetypal designs. Each rug is one-of-a-kind and made outside of Yerevan, Armenia.

A star motif Armenian Kazak weave wool rug in multi-color, this rug was hand-knotted of 100% Armenian wool using our Kazak weave which has a pile height around a third of an inch. The field has an all over pattern of tribal motifs focused around the star symbol which is used to express happiness and fertility. The colors used in this carpet are bright an energetic with red, yellow, ivory, brown, spruce green and different shades of blue.
