This popular suspension lamp was designed by Ingo Maurer in 1998. It’s a gigantic lamp is made of 80 pieces of Japanese paper which form a soft, airy volume around the light source.

The lamp gives its user plenty of room for his/her own creativity. It can be set up in various ways depending on the placement of the thin rods. The blank sheets of paper supplied with it are designed to be used for your own messages and sketches.

Ingo Maurer Zettel’z 6 Pendant has a diameter of 80cm. It is a unique lamp and a deluxe design object at the same time. It is supplied with 40 printed and 40 unprinted sheets in A6 size. The Japanese paper is very thin and translucent.

The lamp’s notes are fastened by clamps making for an interesting play of light and shadow. An additional set of 80 sheets can be ordered in the accessories and spare parts.

The notes can be painted or written on as desired. They can also just be left unprinted. Either way, the notes throw large and heavy shadows when the lamp is turned on. This provides a soft, multi-layered light. The lamp has two light bulbs to ensure ideal lighting. The bulb is surrounded by satin glass and a string of wire so that you can position the stalks in any way you like: one can choose how many stalks to use and the length.
