From the Radiance Collection by Barbara Barry, the Tracery Amethyst rug is made from 65% Himalayan wool and 35% silk. The Tracery rug is made in Nepal with our Shakti weave, but with some interesting techniques: an alternating high/low construction and lines of uncut loop knot pile which makes it more textural than other rugs in this weave. The Amethyst name of this rug needs a little explanation as the hue of this rug is not really purple or grey but a soft toned combination of the two.
